SIGNL4 Update: Stakeholder Communication and Signl Status Notifications

Apr 14, 2026 | Updates

Because Incidents Don’t Stop at Your Company’s Boundaries

When incidents happen, they rarely stay contained. Customers, partners, and internal stakeholders are often affected – but too often, they’re informed late or not at all. In critical situations, that lack of communication can quickly turn into real business risk.

With our latest SIGNL4 release, we’re changing that.

A More Proactive Approach With SIGNL4

SIGNL4 now makes it easy to keep stakeholders in the loop during incidents.

With Distribution Lists, you can define groups of stakeholders (and users) who should be informed. When an alert or update is triggered, everyone on the list is notified at the same time.

How it works:

  • Instant push notifications
Stakeholders receive updates directly on their smartphones via the SIGNL4 mobile app – no need to check dashboards or status pages.
  • Full transparency and tracking
See exactly which alerts were delivered, who received them, and when.
  • Clear separation of roles
Stakeholders stay informed without being pulled into the resolution process. No acknowledgments, no added workload.
  • Simple grouping with Distribution Lists
Easily define who should be notified in different scenarios – whether it’s management, customer-facing teams, or external partners.
  • Reliable communication when it matters most
Ensure critical alerts are never missed with features like silent/mute override on iOS and Android – especially important outside business hours.

You move from passive visibility to active communication:

  • Stakeholders are informed in real time
  • Communication is consistent and controlled
  • Teams stay focused on resolving incidents
  • Trust is maintained – even in critical situations

Also New: Real-Time Signal Status Notifications

As part of our latest update, we are also introducing push notifications for signal status changes, so, your on-duty teams always know what’s happening.

Once enabled, SIGNL4 automatically sends notifications whenever a signal status changes. You’ll immediately see when a colleague has acknowledged an issue or when it’s been resolved – whether in SIGNL4 or via an integrated third-party system.

What this means for your team:

  • No more guesswork
Instantly see when someone has picked up a task
  • Better coordination
Avoid duplicate work and improve shift handovers
  • Immediate visibility into resolution
Know right away when issues are resolved – no need to check other tools
  • Improved efficiency
Stay focused on what still needs attention

This keeps everyone aligned, reduces response times, and makes collaboration smoother across the team.
