Mobile alerting with tracking & escalation for Pulseway
Using Pulseway alone is a great step to making sure you can tackle any system issues from anywhere in the world. But making sure you know about these issues before they become critical is the first step. That’s where SIGNL4 comes in. Intercepting notification messages and alerting team members of server status is a great proactive approach to ensure the networks stays up and running.
How it Works
SIGNL4 can retrieve detailed incident information sent from Pulseway via email notifications. On-call users responsible for such incidents will receive mobile alerts where they can take ownership and even collaborate with peers if needed.

On-call scheduling to alert the right people at the right time
How To Integrate
Integrate SIGNL4 with Pulseway
1.) Create a User from the web portal with the SIGNL4 email address
2.) Assign that user to a to a Team responsible for monitoring devices.
3.) On Duty SIGNL4 members will now receive alerts based on the notifications sent from Pulseway.
Alerts can be enriched with specific ring tones, colors and icons to represent the severity of an alert. Pulseway emails all have the same look and feel to them so having a color specific setting for NORMAL, ELEVATED and CRITICAL alerts is key. Setting keywords in the Services & Systems section will intercept the incoming notifications and automatically change the color of the corresponding alert. In this case we will read the Subject line of the email message and change the color and icon accordingly.
SIGNL4 reads the subject line and applies the colors and icons to the alerts.
