HOW TO INTEGRATE
Setting up Monitis in your environment is very easy. A simple URL/IP address will automatically build dashboards reporting the system state of servers. For performance metrics, a downloadable agent is available. In order for SIGNL4 to receive these events, all that is required is to create a new Contact. From the dashboard click on the Alerts drop down menu and select Contacts.
Adding this contact to existing monitors is very simple. Just select the monitor and edit the settings to receive alerts on errors and resolutions.
SIGNL4 has a great tool, Systems and Services which allows customization of the alerts within the mobile app. The screenshots below show how a blue banner is replaced with red, the title text is overwritten and at a glance, users will immediately know of critical issues.
SIGNL4 can further increase the visibility of alerts through its Signals and Services section. Augmenting the color and icon of alerts will provide more relevant information at a glance without having to open the alert.
