Why SIGNL4
Happy Apps is a cloud-based website, server and performance monitor with easy to configure dashboards and user setup. SIGNL4 ensures that all on duty members receive, acknowledge and resolve critical alerts, all from their smartphones. With persistent notifications and escalation chains there will never be a critical alert that goes unattended. SIGNL4 also offers ad-hoc collaboration between team members for each and every alert, so Subject Matter Experts can be looped in to help resolve issues.
How it Works
SIGNL4 team email address establishes connection with Happy Apps to enable mobile notification and alerting capabilities for operational and network teams. Happy Apps can also receive a JSON POST via Webhook in which SIGNL4 will receive critical data and alert on duty team members.

HOW TO INTEGRATE
There are two ways that you can have incidents that are raised delivered to SIGNL4, email and via webhook.
For Email simply add your S4 Team email address as a contact.
For Webhook add a new recipient and select Webhook from the drop down menu. Give it a name, populate the URL and adjust the JSON payload to include critical information that you need to receive.
Once these steps are taken you need to adjust the Alert Rules in the Admin section.
Alerts will be delivered with the information that is submitted via email and/or webhook. Further augmentation can be done for these alerts. See Alert Optimization section below.
ALERT OPTIMIZATION
SIGNL4 can further increase the visibility of alerts through its Signals and Services section. Augmenting the color and icon of alerts will provide more relevant information at a glance without having to open the alert.
