How To Integrate

Integrating SIGNL4 with SignalFx

Once you have resources that are monitored within SignalFx you then need to setup a new detector.

From the web portal, go to the Alert menu option and select New Detector

Follow the prompts to setup the monitoring that you wish to receive alerts on. On the

Add Recipients section enter the SIGNL4 email address.

Alternatively, you can also choose to send the data to a webhook URL. Each SIGNL4 team has its own webhook URL. Enter the link in the space provided once you choose Webhook as a recipient.

Alerts will come into SIGNL4 as soon as they are raised.

Augmenting these alerts with specific colors, icons and overriding the text is a quick and easy way to see if the alert needs immediate attention by quickly glancing at the alert colors. Alerts sent via Webhook will separate out values into individual boxes, making them easier to read.

Alert Optimization

SIGNL4 can further increase the visibility of alerts through its Signals and Services section. Augmenting the color and icon of alerts will provide more relevant information at a glance without having to open the alert.

Override text, colors and titles are triggered by keywords set within the mobile app.
